Dr. Wade Bateman

Dr. Bateman joined Summit Family Health in Spring of 2020.  He did his undergraduate training at Brigham Young University and thereafter completed medical school at University of Washington.  He and his wife Nola moved to Boise in 1988, where he completed his residency in Family Medicine.  He has practiced in Boise over the past 20+ years.  Dr. Bateman and his wife have 5 daughters.

Although his wife claims he has a few too many hobbies, Dr. Bateman (Wade as he prefers) enjoys golf, ice hockey, fly fishing, archery hunting, photography and playing the acoustic guitar.  His favorite activity is spending time with his extensive family, and they frequently get together for Sunday dinners.

His practice is general family medicine of all ages, and he loves the diversity and long-term relationships with his patients.  Dr. Bateman specializes in adult medicine problems and diagnostics, but still loves pediatric and adolescent medicine, and especially acute care for all patients.  He is accepting new patients now at Summit Family Health.
